Truck Driver
Truck drivers use heavy vehicles such as haul packs to transport goods and materials from one area to another. Truck drivers in the minerals industry may perform the following tasks:

Check brakes, oil, tyres, electrical systems,water, hydraulic and air;

Load, or supervise loading, material onto the truck;

Transport material to destination, and
-
Maintain log books.

Pathways
Entry is generally through an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate II or higher qualification, a traineeship and/or at least 1 year’s relevant experience.
